Welcome to Gowns for Prom Volunteer Sign-Up!
 

All volunteers, please read the following before signing up to volunteer below:

The Gowns for Prom 2025 public distribution event will be on April 5th, 2025, from 9 AM to 7 PM @
The Buffalo Convention Center. Volunteer shifts are 8 AM - 12:30 PM, 12:00 PM - 4 PM, and 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM.
Please keep this in mind when signing up to volunteer!

To volunteer for the whole day, you must sign up for all three shifts.

NEW in 2025!

Based on your feedback, we now have volunteer times and shifts prior to the event for Gowns for Prom sorting!

Using our volunteer sign up system, you can volunteer to help us sort items for the BIG event. Sign up for as many or as few as you would like. Sorting will take place in Kenmore, NY and more details will be available to volunteers on time and location once they sign up to help sort.

Once you sign up to volunteer, you will receive a confirmation email. Then, in the coming weeks before the event, a volunteer coordinator will contact you to let you know your position, confirm your details, and answer any questions you might have.

An online training session may be held for volunteers before the event. You will be invited to the training and can attend if you would like so you know what to expect. If you miss the training, we will send out a recording for you to view on your own time before you volunteer for Gowns for Prom!
